Whether you’re new to tattoos or a returning client, this FAQ section is here to help you feel informed and confident every step of the way. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about booking, the tattoo process, what to expect during your appointment, and how to care for your new tattoo

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

I open my books a few times a year — usually around three times annually. I always post in advance to give everyone a heads-up, and share another update once the booking form goes live. 

​

Once the booking form is filled out, I will contact you via email to finalize design ideas and choose an appointment date! 

​

You can follow me on Instagram and Facebook for updates, and also subscribe to my mailing list to get notifications straight to your inbox when my books open — spots tend to fill up fast!

HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?

My hourly rate is $190 plus tax.

 

I only charge for actual chair time — meaning the time spent actively tattooing. The length of each session (and therefore final price) will depend on the size, placement, and details of the design.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept debit, credit, cash, and Downtown Dollars

DO YOU OFFER
TOUCH-UPS?

Yes! I offer free touch-ups. If your tattoo needs a little refresh after healing, just send me an email and we’ll get you booked in

 

Please note that touch-ups are intended for healed tattoos and don't include changes to the original design.

CAN YOU COVER-UP AN OLD TATTOO?

Yes! I do offer cover-up tattoos. If you’re interested in a cover-up, please include a clear photo or description of the existing tattoo when filling out the booking form.

 

I’ll review your request and let you know what’s possible based on the design, size, and placement!

HOW DO I GET TO THE STUDIO?

The Sanctuary is located at

420 Talbot Street, Unit #201,

London, Ontario


When you arrive, just head up the stairs at the front of the building — it’s the first door on the left!

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment — I completely understand that life happens!

A retainer is required to secure your booking and will be applied toward the total cost of your appointment.

 

If you provide 48 hours or more notice, your retainer will be held on your account to be applied to a new appointment. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, your retainer will be forfeited and you would need a new one to rebook.

CAN I BRING SNACKS AND WATER?

Yes, absolutely!

 

You’re welcome to bring your own snacks or drinks. The Sanctuary also has a fully stocked coffee bar with coffee, tea, other drinks, and lots of snacks to keep you comfortable during your session!

WHAT KIND OF BANDAGE DO YOU USE? 

At The Sanctuary, I use second skin bandages to protect your tattoo and support the healing process.

 

Second skin is breathable, water resistant, and designed to stay on for several days, making aftercare easier and more comfortable!

 

I also use latex-free gloves during all tattoo procedures to ensure a safe and allergy-conscious environment.

HOW LONG SHOULD I LEAVE MY SECOND SKIN BANDAGE ON FOR?

You can leave your Second Skin bandage on for up to 5 days, depending on how it’s holding up.


If it starts to peel, leak, or feel uncomfortable before then, it’s totally okay to remove it sooner!


When you do take it off, make sure to gently wash your tattoo with unscented soap and follow up with your aftercare routine.

DO YOU ACCEPT
WALK-INS?

The Sanctuary is a private,

by-appointment-only studio.

 

All appointments must be booked in advance through the booking form when my books are open. This helps ensure each client has a personalized and focused experience in a calm, comfortable space.

WHAT IS THE TATTOO PROCESS LIKE?

Once your appointment is confirmed, I’ll design your tattoo based on the ideas you shared. 

I typically send the design 1 to 5 business days before your appointment so you have time to review it. Adjustments can be made, and we’ll finalize sizing and placement together on the day of your tattoo!

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO GET TATTOOED?

You must be 18 years or older to get tattooed at The Sanctuary.

 

Valid photo ID is required at your appointment to verify your age.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TATTOO AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?

I’ll go over aftercare with you before you leave, but here are the basics:

Keep your tattoo clean and moisturized, avoid soaking it (no baths, pools, or hot tubs), and don’t pick or scratch as it heals.

 

If you have any questions while it’s healing, you’re always welcome to reach out!

WHAT AFTERCARE PRODUCTS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

I recommend washing your tattoo with a gentle, unscented liquid soap 1-2 times daily for the first two weeks after taking the Second Skin bandage off. 

​

After cleaning, use a light layer of unscented moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated.

​

Avoid scented lotions, alcohol-based products, ointments, or anything with active ingredients — they can irritate the healing skin. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and ask!
